Hi Marin,

Just happened across your video once again. I agree! I think everything you referenced in your video is valid and rational, for me I have a 183,000 vi and although I haven’t played nearly the number of horns as you I’ve always been aware it is markedly different than earlier era vi’s. Ultimately I ended up using a different earlier vi neck on it and much happier with how it’s playing currently. Do you have thoughts on neck alterations? My current neck has been opened up at the cork end and rifled as well. I bought this direct from Peter Ponzol. It has opened up thx response a great deal and I think plays quite a bit further from a typical vi neck now but I feel at home on it and I think it’s quite unique.
